"Travel is more than the seeing of sights; it is a change that goes on, deep and permanent, in the ideas of living.”
– Miriam Beard
After flying back to Tampa from NYC, I had three days to do laundry, re-pack, and re-set before it was time to make my way back to the airport for a long day of traveling. This time though, I headed to the west coast with my parents. We went on an Alaskan cruise with my mom's side of the family and both of my grandmothers to celebrate their birthdays. Before we left for the cruise, we allowed ourselves enough time to explore the cruise-port city, Seattle. I'm so glad we did! For the next week or so, I will split up my trip on a day-by-day posting. I have so many exciting foodie adventures to share with y'all! Look out for blog posts coming this week about my walking tour through Pike's Place Market, wine tasting & beer tasting tours in Woodinville, WA, the cooking class I took on the cruise ship with the executive chef of the Pinnacle Grill (premier restaurant on the ship), and all of the great meals I had the entire week. I cannot forget to blog about my fun outdoorsy adventures in Alaska as well! Stay tuned. :)
