Trials and Tribulations of My Car

Sitting in a car dealership all day is NOT my idea of a good time. Who knew that changing the light bulb above my license plate would be such a huge ordeal?

However, I am confident that tonight will make up for it. Corey Smith is in town after all! Who is he, you ask? An extremely talented musician. I didn't know who he was before I came to college, but he comes to Tallahassee every year to sing in one of our college bars. I am so excited that I finally get to go this year!

Go look him up on YouTube. You will not be disappointed.
My favorite song of his is called "21."

Only a few more hours until it starts!

Complaining

I hate the feeling you get when you are sick that you don't remember what it feels like to be healthy. I am totally being over-dramatic but I am so tired of having no energy.

This will be my dinner for the next few days:

I'm convinced that chicken noodle soup is a miracle worker.
If only I had enough energy to make it homemade.
Cambell's will just have to do!

Never Forget

"I thank God for my life and for the stars and stripes. May freedom forever fly, let it ring. Salute the ones who died, the ones that give their lives so we don't have to sacrifice all the things we love."

Recipe Bookazines

I think about food 24/7. (Literally!) It's a good thing I love my fruits and veggies (thanks Mom and Dad!) or else I would be 500 lbs! While I was walking through the store today thinking about what I wanted to cook next, two magazines caught my eye as I was passing a rack of gossip rags. These, however, were food
bookazines. I have never used the term "Bookazine" before but it is the perfect way to describe the two. They are way more than your average magazine but cheaper and more convenient to use than a cookbook.

One was a Cooking Light Special Edition (5 Ingredient, 15 Minute Recipes, couldn't find a picture of the actual magazine) and the other was a new magazine based off of the website Light & Delish. I was familiar with both of the websites so I knew that I would find tons of recipes inside that would entice me. I was correct! The pictures inside of both magazines are completely mouthwatering and the recipes are all very healthy.

You should check them out! It is definitely worth it. They each have an extremely wide array of recipes to choose from. I promise even the pickiest person in your dinner group will find something they like in one of these publications! If you don't want to buy them then just check back on my blog. I know I will be making a TON of these recipes very, very soon!
